February 16, 2023 in Kolomna Centre for Sociocultural Research's leading researcher Bushina E.V. presented a report “The relationship between acculturation and school bullying among Russian schoolchildren” at the XVIII scientific conference with international participation “Practical educational psychology of the 21st century: a developing person in a transforming world”, organized by the State University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On February 16, 2023, the XVIII scientific conference with international participation “Practical educational psychology of the 21st century: a developing person in a transforming world” was held in Kolomna, organized by the State University of Social Sciences and Humanities.Throughout the conference relevant issues related to teaching activities were raised. Both theorists from leading Russian universities (MSU, HSE, Vygotsky Institute of Psychology, Russian State University for the Humanities, Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, etc.) and practitioners working in colleges schools and kindergarten were invited to the conference.
Centre for Sociocultural Research's Leading researcher Bushina E.V. presented at the section “Psychological and pedagogical aspects of personality development” with a report “The relationship between acculturation and school bullying among Russian schoolchildren.” The report evoked a lively response from the audience and highlighted the regional significance of the problem of bullying in schools, where the majority are migrants rather than an ethnic majority. Based on the results of the conference, it was decided to continue collaboration with the State University of Social Sciences and Humanities and outline a number of events for teachers in the Moscow region aimed at preventing intergroup conflicts in the educational environment.
