HSE Expert Institute International Laboratory of Socio-Cultural Research was founded in 2011 on the basis of the Research and Teaching Laboratory of Socio-Psychological Research which started work in 2006. In 2019, it was transformed into the Centre for Sociocultural Research
Center's Academic Director is Nadezhda Lebedeva, Doctor of Psychology, Tenured Professor of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, acknowledged scholar in ethnic and cross-cultural psychology, author of over 20 books and 200 research articles.
The Head of the Center is Alexander Tatarko, Doctor of Psychology, Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, a leading scientist in the field of social and economic psychology, the author of more than 15 books and 100 scientific articles.
