All-Russian Scientific Conference "Positive Experience of Regulating Ethno-Social and Ethno-Cultural Processes in the Regions of the Russian Federation
CSCR members participated in the All-Russian scientific conference "Positive experience of regulating ethno-social and ethno-cultural processes in the regions of the Russian Federation" in Kazan on June 26-29.
This interdisciplinary conference was dedicated to the challenges facing contemporary Russian society and brought together researchers in sociology, ethnology, anthropology and psychology. Six scientific sections were organised as part of the conference proceedings. Z. Lepshokova, a chief research fellow in CSCR, moderated the section "The Potential of Territorial and Ethnic Identities in the Development of Russian Regions" and made a presentation on "The Structure of Russian Social Identity in the Context of Global Challenges: Results of Network Analysis". At the section "Language, ethno-cultural and religious processes in modern Russian society" the research fellow of CSCR M. Bultseva made a report on "Interrelation of multicultural climate of higher education institution and prosociality of students" and the a chief research fellow in CSCR M. Efremova made a report on "Interrelation of religiosity and self-efficacy among Jewish youth in Russia". At the end of the conference the results were summarised and prospects for scientific cooperation were outlined.
