On April 14, 2023, Nadezhda Murashchenkova, a researcher at the Center for Sociocultural Research, delivered a report at the XXIV Yasin (April) International Scientific Conference on Problems of Economic and Social Development.

April 14, 2023, as part of the session “Identity Issues. Presentation of the research results of the National Research University Higher School of Economics" section "Sociocultural Processes" Nadezhda Murashchenkova presented a report on the topic "Psychological state of Russian student youth in times of crisis: the role of cultural and political patriotism."

The speech reflected the results of a study in which 718 Russian students from Moscow, Omsk, Penza, Saratov, Smolensk and Khabarovsk took part in the fall of 2022. The report discussed the psychological well-being and social optimism of young people in times of crisis, their predictors and conditions for maintaining them. The scientific work was carried out within the framework of the Project of the Basic Research Program of the National Research University Higher School of Economics "Sociocultural and psychological mechanisms of unity and polarization of Russian society in the context of global challenges."
