Конференция «Этнопсихология: Теория и Практика»
On November 16-17, 2023, the international scientific and practical conference “Ethnopsychology: Theory and Practice” was held. CSCR employees took part both as section moderators and speakers.
Scientific director of the Center for Sociocultural Research Nadezhda Mikhailovna Lebedeva moderated the section “Psychology of Intercultural Interaction: Theory and Practice”, as well as a round table in memory of Tatyana Gavrilovna Stefanenko. In turn, Zarina Lepshokova, chief researcher at the Center, moderated the section “Psychology of Migration and Acculturation,” which discussed current topics related to migration processes and their impact on society.
Dmitry Grigoriev, researcher, presented a plenary talk “The Integration Hypothesis: A Critical Assessment and Multilevel Meta-Analysis of Three Multinational Datasets.” Ekaterina Bushina, leading researcher, made a presentation “Imaginations about Russia among different groups of Russians.”
CSCR research interns also spoke at this conference. Elizaveta Komyaginskaya highlighted “the role of the perception of the culture of an ethnic group in the formation of the content of a stereotype about it,” and Albina Gallyamova presented her report on the topic “The cultural dimension of individualism-collectivism as the main tool for analyzing the similarities and differences of cultures.”
Discussions and exchanges of views at the conference covered a wide range of topics, and presentations by CSCR staff aroused considerable interest among scientists.
