Prospects of development of social and cross-cultural psychology in ILSCR
On April 12 Alexander N. Tatarko (Dr. psychol. Sciences, leading research fellow of International Scientific-Educational Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research, associate Professor, School of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, HSE) took part in the “Culture matters” research seminar with the report on "Prospects of development of social and cross-cultural psychology in ILSCR".
International Scientific-Educational laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research (ILSCR) has existed since 2006, and in 2011 it acquired the status of an international laboratory. Over 10 years of development, it has undergone some significant structural changes that have enhanced the quality of its employees’ research. Now the laboratory research staff are published in foreign journals, and to the master's program, developed on the basis of the laboratory, come to study foreign students, studying in English and getting a double diploma.
According to the speaker, the laboratory staff also should work toward improving the quality and quantity of publications in top journals and building a network of international contacts. Also in in perspective it is necessary to create own original ideas, theories, projects and developments that will become really demand among foreign colleagues.
