Participation in the Summer Summit of Psychologists in St. Petersburg is always an unforgettable productive experience
Traditionally, the annual Summit of Russian Psychologists provides meetings with prominent representatives of the profession, rich communication, expansion of the network of professional contacts, familiarity with current trends and methods of practical psychological work, new ideas, meanings and visions of various ways of professional development both in the field of scientific and practical psychology. This year was no exception. From June 4 to June 7, 2023, a researcher at the Center for Sociocultural Research, Nadezhda Murashchenkova, took part in the 17th St. Petersburg Summit of Psychologists, organized by the professional online publication “Psychological Newspaper” and the Institute of Practical Psychology “Imaton”. The opening of the Summit on June 4 began with a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and laureates of the XXIV National Competition “Golden Psyche” based on the results of 2022 and continued in the form of a panel discussion “Healing wounds and the search for transvital meaning”, the speakers of which were leading domestic scientists and practitioners in field of psychology. The main program of the Summit included a three-day immersion in practical psychological work: specialists from various regions of the country conducted more than 85 master classes and interactive lectures on areas of psychological assistance and support that are especially in demand today. Nadezhda Murashchenkova took part in 11 master classes and completed training in the thematic advanced training program “Providing psychological assistance in overcoming the consequences of traumatic situations.”
Thanks to the organizers of the Summit for this annual professional holiday and a platform for productive professional communication, establishing professional and personal contacts, training, exchange of experience and mutual support.
