Personnel of International Scientific-Educational Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research on advanced training program organized by Social Research Association
In May 2013 personnel of ILSCR – Lusine Grigoryan, Maria Efremova and Ekaterina Bushina – took part in advanced training program organized by Social Research Association in Edinburgh, Scotland.
One-day intensive courses of Social Research Association were focused on learning the methodology of conducting qualitative research in social sciences, data analysis, presentation of results, and publication of articles with results of qualitative research according to international standards.
Laboratory staff took following courses among the rest – introduction course “Designing a Qualitative Study”, courses on qualitative methods of research “The Art of Qualitative Interviewing” and courses on quantitative data analysis “Analysis of Qualitative Data”, as well as courses on interpretation and presentation of results obtained with qualitative research methods “Interpreting and Writing Up Your Qualitative Findings”.
