Nationwide Forum “IMPLEMENTATION OF STATE NATIONAL POLICY IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES”

On November 8-10, 2023, the Nationwide Forum “IMPLEMENTATION OF STATE NATIONAL POLICY IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES” was held in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, dedicated to interethnic relations. During the plenary session, speakers included the Chairman of the State Assembly (Kurultai) of the Republic of Bashkortostan, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan for internal policy, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs of Russia, Director of the Resource Center in the field of national relations, Co-chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia, Member of the Commission on the Preservation and Development of the Cultural and Linguistic Diversity of the People of Russia of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Interethnic Relations, Chairman of the Regional Branch of the public-governmental organization "Assembly of the Peoples of Russia" of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Deputy of the State Assembly (Kurultai) of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Director of the Center for Humanitarian Research of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Chief Research fellow of the Center for Sociocultural research Victoria Nikolaevna Galyapina and leading research fellow Ekaterina Valerievna Bushina were invited to conduct training on intercultural relations as part of the master class “Conciliatory technologies in the prevention and resolution of interethnic and interfaith conflicts.” Among the participants were representatives of the administration, scientists, teachers, students of the Civil Service Academy, and speakers invited to the forum. The master class was very successful, the participants learned about the structure of the training, its objectives, worked in mini groups, and enriched each other with the experience of intercultural communication taking into account the Bashkir context. The master class continued with an interactive presentation from Belyaev M.A., head of the Center for Conciliatory Technologies and Public Interaction of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. The final event at the forum was a round table “Problems of adaptation and integration of migrants in new conditions” where participants spoke about the features of migration policy, adaptation activities at universities, and terminology. It was extremely interesting and useful for colleagues to take an active part in this forum, visit such an interesting, ethnically diverse region and meet passionate scientists, organizers and participants.
