Antecedents and consequences of the content of ethnic stereotypes

On December 16 Dmitry Grigoryev (PhD, principal investigator, HSE University) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Antecedents and consequences of the content of ethnic stereotypes".

The report presented a modern view of the content of stereotypes, and also examined the relationship between the content of stereotypes and social structure, prejudice, and discrimination. In addition, the results of new cross-cultural experimental and correlation studies of ethnic stereotypes were presented, including findings from data from 24 regions of the world.
