Экокультурная психология

On January 31, as part of the scientific seminar “Culture Matters,” Dmitry Grigoriev (Ph.D., researcher at the Center for Sociocultural Research, Higher School of Economics) and Albina Gallyamova (intern-researcher at the Center for Sociocultural Research, Higher School of Economics) gave a presentation on the topic: "Ecocultural psychology".

The seminar was devoted to the introduction to the ecocultural approach to understanding human behavior. The seminar participants became familiar with the basic concepts and ideas of ecocultural psychology, with modern ideas about the connection between evolution, ecology, genetics, culture and human behavior, obtained from a number of related disciplines (cultural ecology, human behavioral ecology, sociobiology, evolutionary psychology, historical psychology, psychogenetics and etc.).
